"When I first went to Dr. Sulteʼs office, I was a bit skeptical and ill at ease about getting yet another root canal. I was immediately put at ease as soon as she walked in the room. She is the best Endodontist I have ever been to. Not only is her work fantastic but she is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. She has truly gone above and beyond for her patients. "I came in with a rogue tooth hurting so badly that my notion of true pain was reinvented. To my amazement, the tooth I was pointing to as errant was not the offender. Rather, through x-rays and an oral exam, Dr. Sulte determined the real culprit was an adjacent tooth. One root canal later, I left her office pain-free and loving life again. I wish to thank Dr. Suite and her associate Laura for both their empathy and the skill they each bring to their craft. Applause!"
A parting comment: never in my life did I think I would equate a dentist's office with brilliant interior design, but I went home and told my wife she simply had to see the Aspen office, which is decorated with impeccable taste and an abundance of incredible pictures.

"I was exceptionally impressed by my recent - first - visit to Aspen Endodontics. Every item was attended to with utmost care and detail. I rarely, if ever take the time to make comments, so this does have some weight. While the visit did not turn out the way I had hoped, it certainly was no reflection on the professional and personal care and treatment that I received. Actually, in August 2006, I had a serious head injury that resulted in a concussion and a few broken teeth and one of the teeth in the bridge was also broken, all on the right side. Looking back, I think that is where the integrity of the crown on tooth #30 was compromised."

Recently, I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Sulte concerning an abscessed tooth. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by Connie who was very friendly, efficient, and helpful with the completion of the appropriate paperwork. I thought, this is great! Many places a patient is left to do this without help. Then I met Chun, Dr. Sulte's assistant. She showed me in and proceeded by doing x- rays and asked about my problem and some of my past medical history. She is very thorough and competent.
Shortly after this, I met Dr. Sulte. She introduced herself and explained the procedure step by step. Every detail was explained thoroughly. I was very impressed. As soon as the sedative took effect, Dr. Sulte began to work. The procedure was painless and finished in a timely manner. Before leaving Dr. Sulte explained what I needed to do and not do in post care for this procedure and followup. She is very knowledgeable and efficient.
These girls make going to the dentist a pleasant experience, not something to dread. Excellent."

I am thrilled to say I have not experienced even one second of discomfort. The entire procedure was completely painless! As Dr. Sulte worked on my tooth, I actually found myself relaxing and enjoying the dental chair which provided a continuous back massage. Unbelievable! There has been no swelling, throbbing, sensitivity, jaw pain or any other symptom typical of post-root canal recovery. This is very surprising since my tooth was still “alive” when the work was done.

You would think having gone through 3 difficult pregnancies, and ovarian cancer, that I would just breeze into your office and be totally relaxed for my root canal! NOT! I had some bad experiences with another dentist, and coupled with childhood trama at a dentist's office, I was in pure terror. When Dr. Sulte asked me how I was at the beginning of the appointment, I said I was scared. I have never liked going to the dentist, one of my complaints has always been extreme jaw fatigue causing pain afterwards in the joint area. What happened while I was at the first appointment was a complete transformation of my fear into joy of being taken care of....in everyway. Dr. Sulte and Chun completely erased my fears and I felt safe and comfortable, and can we talk about the back massage chair???? !!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Sulte is truly gifted, and to have her in Anchorage is a gift for anyone needing a root canal or endodontist services. "My experience at Aspen Endodontics was positive. When I first called, I was met in a professional manner and sent a link to complete the initial paperwork online. This alleviated having to show up early to my appointment and fill out all the paperwork necessary for a first time patient. The waiting room was welcoming as was the receptionist. I was immediately put to ease with the professional manner in which I was treated. I had had a very bad experience in the past with a root canal and when I explained this to the receptionist and assistant, I was assured that they would do everything they could to make this experience a better one. Throughout the whole procedure, I was asked how I was doing. I was so pleased that it was a much easier procedure than I had experienced with my last root canal. I got calls the next two days to see how I was doing. I received a letter shortly after my appointment as a follow-up. All-in-all it was a good experience...or as good as a root canal can be! "On April 27th, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. I visited Aspen Endodontics, for a root canal procedure. Their office staff (Jackie) had given me get an appointment on short notice. I arrived at their sparklingly luxurious suite and was warmly greeted by all staff, Dr. Heather Sulte included. I was promptly seated in the "root canal chair," a very comfortable, high-tech massage reclining dental chair -- very impressive. The attending nurse and Dr. Sulte were, and always have been, extremely caring and thorough in articulating my immediate root canal future, this being my third. Dr. Sulte explained all the details of the procedure and answered all of my questions/concerns. I was left comforted and confident, with no doubts whatsoever. The procedure took some time due to my "challenging" root, but all during the procedure my comfort was their utmost concern while Dr. Sulte gave me the play-by-play. Just when my jaw started aching Dr. Sulte asked me if my jaw was doing ok. I found that extraordinary -- she and her staff foreknowing and responing. The procedure went perfectly as expected. I departed with my post-op instruction sheet knowing I was wonderfully treated, both medically and personally. And, as it was with my two former root canal procedures at Aspen Endodontics, I experienced zero pain thereafter. The professionalism and people skills at Aspen Endodontics are second to none. Hence, my wife (also an Aspen patient) and I drive in from Palmer and would never-in-a-million years consider going anywhere else. Thank you all at Aspen!"

“I hate to say it but my root canal procedure was painless and pleasant. Most of my phobias regarding the procedure disappeared by the time Dr. Heather Suite was done with me. All that worrying for nothing. Darn!! When the local anesthesia began to wore off, I took the flurbiprofen that kill off any discomfort that may have flared up. I took again before I went to bed and next day I didn't feel any discomfort at all. It was impressive that such a procedure was done without any pain and very little discomfort.”
